what's the scoop?
Totally Pawsome provides in-home pet care. This means our sitters travel to our client’s homes to care for their pets. We provide service for whatever they need; travel, long work hours; a late meeting, recovering from surgery; working from home but not enough time to walk the dog, don’t trust the kids to care for the animals properly. Whatever the reason, we’ll be there! Our clients are mostly cat and dog owners, but we’ll also visit rabbits, birds, frogs, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, iguanas, etc.
Our clients can customize how long they would like us to visit with their pets. We will also bring in the mail, water plants, take out the trash, rotate the lights, and open and close the curtains to give the home a lived-in look.
Yes, Totally Pawsome is fully insured and bonded by Pet Care Insurance—with a Certificate of Coverage available upon request. Additionally, we prioritize your safety by ensuring that every team member undergoes comprehensive background checks using Checker.
Our Meet & Greet is an in-home visit that lets you get to know Totally Pawsome before any services begin. During the visit, one (sometimes two) of our team members will come over, spend quality time with you and your pet, and review all the key details about your home and pet care routine—such as vet info, emergency contacts, and any special requests—while also setting you up in Time To Pet.
Please note that this meeting is a required first step before services start, and there is a $25 fee to cover administrative costs and our time.
At the Meet & Greet, please have a key or access code ready for entry. You choose how you'd like us to access your home. If you provide a key, we can discuss installing a lockbox for secure, shared access while you're away. Additionally, we offer key pick-up and return services for $20 per trip—this fee applies to any separate trips made solely for key handling outside of your regular scheduled visits.
The easiest way to manage your visits is through our app, Time To Pet. Once you log in, simply click on the “Schedule” option where you can book new visits or cancel and change existing ones. The process is intuitive, but if you need any help, feel free to reach out to us. You can download the Time To Pet app from Google Play or the Apple App Store, or log in directly on our website at www.totallypawsomepets.com by clicking on Client Login.
We offer a few convenient payment methods and invoicing options to suit your service needs:
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept credit cards via Time To Pet, as well as Venmo and Zelle.
Pet Sitting: An invoice is sent via Time To Pet after you return home.
Dog Walking: Invoices are issued weekly or monthly—whichever you prefer.
Overnight Stays: A 50% deposit is required when your reservation is accepted, with the remaining balance collected after your service.
All payments are due in full within 10 days of receiving your invoice, and a $25 late fee applies to any overdue invoices. Invoices not paid after 10 days will be automatically charged to the card on file.
Dog Walking and Pet Sitting
If you cancel your reservation for dog walking or pet sitting with less than 48 hours’ notice, you will be responsible to pay the full fee for the service reserved.
Overnights
If you cancel an overnight(s) with less than 7 days’ notice, the 50 % deposit will become a credit on your account for future use.
A 5% fee is added to all invoices to cover the costs of our dedicated admin, scheduling, and management team.
We charge an extra $5.00 per visit on the following 2025 holidays:
